As a school leaver you will attend a local college or university one day a week on a part time HNC or Degree level construction related course. During the remainder of your week, you will receive practical work experience and comprehensive technical and on the job training. Attendance on both internal and external courses in such skills as Health & Safety, First Aid, plant and machinery operation, safety equipment, time management, basic office skills, IT and teamwork, will also add to your education and development.
Each trainee is appointed a training and development manager who will assess progress and performance and agree future career, development and training objectives and requirements. Additionally, they will act as the trainees mentor and develop, update and review the trainees personal development plan.
As a graduate with a construction related Degree, Wade Construction Ltd will enhance your education with practical work experience and comprehensive technical and on the job training. Internal and external courses in such skills as Health & Safety, First Aid, time management, business skills, IT and teamwork, will continue your development and career progression.
